The Law and Politics Book Review is sponsored by the Law and Courts Section of the American Political Science Association. Reviews are selected by a scholar editorial board and are membership interest-based

The LPBR provides long and detailed reviews of books (1200-1500 words) and indexes in a standard web format. Thematic essays are richer in text (2500 words)

An average of several dozen book reviews are present in each monthly issue of the review since 1991 for an estimated number of about 5,000 records
