The main OPAC catalogue and other metadata are accessible for all users for free. Full access to other catalogues and many collections is reserved only to members of the Harvard community. Plenty of internal and external links are provided
Fee Policy 
In order to access most of HUL library contents and to full access them, an institutional affiliation is required
Free Retrieved Material
Free access to a limited number of records. E-resources and most collections and records are accessible only by Harvard community. Nevertheless, detailed metainfo from all catalogues as well as some other material from collections are also retrievable
Linking Richness
The internal linking architecture is quite complex due to the quantity of included archives and the Harvard schools and institutes, which are internally linked. Many external links to pertinent websites are also provided
