Browsing the library catalogue is possible without any restriction as well as accessing the articles' metadata and the directory of links to external websources. For full texts an institutional affiliation or a payment is required.

An institutional subscription is needed to obtain the library's services and to access full-text articles. Non-affiliated users have to pay for downloading documents

Free Retrieved Material

Some free samples are offered with no payment. The library catalogue and the articles' annotations and metadata, as well as the links directory, are freely retrievable

CEEOL offers a directory of links to Central and Eastern European websites, each with a short comment describing its content. The links are grouped by topic and countries
