The databanks provide free online access to a limited - and yet considerable - amount of the material currently in the catalogue. Basic searchability is free of charge and more advanced options require a free registration.
Fee Policy 
General search is open to the public, but to view records in the reading room or save search results, people need to become a Registered User (or log in as a Guest). Also available are specific Research Guides that can be read online for free or purchased as hardcopy books
